Yeah RAM is memory... but a hard drive is also. both of them will do nicely.

The thread is "is it good", no, it isn't good. The hard drive is alright, but the memory, not so good. No heat spreader and not exactly quality RAM in the first place.

I suggest get a more trusted brand for RAM or memory. Try Kingston. The hard drive is good. I assume they are compatible with your machine.
