Is this good RAM

Mate, that rams really good. I've never actually used the Ballistix range from Crucial, however i've never had a problem with any Crucial RAM in the past. Go for it.;)
 
It'll be hard to say good-bye to my XMS2, it's really good RAM!

I'm hoping that it will let me OC a little further, as when I have 2.8GHz on my CPU, my RAM will still be at stock... so :D
 
that memory will be great danny,Although i think 3.2Ghz will be pushing it a bit on the overclock....maybe 2.9-3Ghz but i could be wrong.
 
I think that 3.2GHz is do-able, Guess we can only wait to see...

On a side note, can anybody find a device to mount a monitor on the wall on Overclockers, I can't...
 
If you note though, the ram has a CL of 4, but the voltage is at 2.2v. If you manually set your XMS to 2.2V, you could get CL4 or maybe even a bit better at the stock speeds.

And as I said in other threads, if your RAM was only around 800MHz, then that wasn't the issue.
