is this mainboard supporting athlon x2?

alright i dont understand, one link from tiger direct says that the asus a8v supports x2 cpuhttp://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1547358&sku=A455-2120

i dont know what to do is this board going to support the x 2, and if not any suggestions on a board that will but also supports agp. thank u for your help

Yes that supports the X2 series. If your not sure if a motherboard supports a certain CPU, you should check out the manufacturers website. If you go to Asus's website, you will see that it does support the X2.
