is that a good choice? i have an overall budget of 750. im realy confused about the mobo choice, theres soo many diferent choices. everything else should be alot easyer.

i will use it mosly for gaming, and some internet too. and ocasionaly school stuff.

ok i have 200 of the budget set aside for ram/mobo, (i dont know what kind of ram im getting if i dont know the mobo) im going to get a AMD athlon 64 3400+ for it.

I think a S939 would be better for you then, but it will cost a little more for the processor & motherboard but you should still be able to stay under 750.
For a S754 the nF3 250 is a solid chipset choice.
