I've overlocked my e8400 to run at 3.87 Ghz on a p35-DS3L with a AC Freezer 7.
I ran Prime95(Small FTT) and the temperature went from idle 39 to 57 with fan speed at 100%.
The temperature is higher than what I saw from what other people are getting but as long as the temperature is not 'damaging', i think it's ok for me.
However, when RealTemp was showing 57, I touched the heatsink and felt that it was cool. So I'm wondering if that's normal? I thought the HS's supposed to be heated up while the fan blows the heat away?
