is this normal?

I was downloading a torrent for the first time and the download rate dropped down to 0 KbPS at 2 MB from the end!!!! (A 1,4 GB file....) IS THIS NORMAL?? The Upload continues, but not the download!

Perfectly normal.
1. Torrents are naturally unpredictable
2. Less people are likely to have the files near the end and thus your speed will drop
