Is this overkill???

Does this sound like a good set up....I have a HAF 912 case....I'm gonna replace the front 120mm fan with a 200 mm intake fan....Take the 120mm fan from the front, and put it as a fan on the side, and add a 200mm exhaust fan on the top...

Or too many fans???

It will be fine. I got four 120s and two 140s. Just try to get low RPM and noise level with high CFM. Or it will sound like a helicopter taking off.

what do you guys think about positive case pressure vs negative? Either way it all has to blow out or in from somewhere, or else the case would explode or implode.

No...Planning on front and side as intakes, and top back as exhaust...

Sounds good. I am planning on doing the same,1 fan in front as intake, the side as intake since its directly in front of the mother board, and back and top as exhuast since heat rises. It will probably sound like a jet when I get them all installed:P:D but really plan on good fans that will move a lot of air when needed but 90 of the time they will be runnin with as low rpm as I can get them. Another thought I have been using is putting filters on the outside on the case. Not the ones that are sold for PC's . I went to the hardware store and bought some big vacum filters and cut them to the size I wanted. I then got some velcro tabs and stuck them at the corners. When they get dirty( I have a carpeted house) they are easy to pull off and clean with water and replace. They seem to be working fine.

Dont think much about either. I like neutral pressure or as close as you can get. If not you will have dust in every nook/cranny and crack in the case.
