Is this phishing or maybe spam?

Every once in a while I get notice that someone has replied to one of my really old threads, but there’s no post when go to the thread even though the link form the forum takes me directly to it.

This has probably happened maybe 10 times this year from various forums and not just one in particular.

Thanks, now that you say that, I do remember immediately responding to a notice and and befor I could reply the post was gone. So i guess the mod saw it and quickly removed it

Spam does generally get deleted quickly here.

Unless you want those email notifications, you can unsubscribe from threads in here and that will stop the emails arriving.
