I dont think it is possible. It wouldn't really help anyway. 3 way is about as high as yuo will see gains from, 4 way at most.
I guess if it is supported 4x 6990 would be 8x 6970, so if anyway was to do it it would be 4 way CF on HD6990.

not that awesome. It would probably be beyond the PSU capibilities of today.

according to the PSU calc that i used, 4x HD6990 CF with standard speed 2500K, and 1 SATA HDD is 1550 watts minimum.
 
so you'd have to have 2 850w psus to be safe, one in the case and the second somewhere that the cables can get in there. and the only way you'd even be able to see a benefit would be playing on a 3x2 wrap around monitor setup, since the performance doesn't scale perfectly. and you'd prob want more than a 2500k for that, wouldn't that take more from the cpu figuring out how to disperse the info to each gpu?
