Is this ram compatible? DDR2

I have an asus a8n slie delxue board, and bought some 240 pin ddr2 ram by pny.
Unfortunatley im not all that ram savvy, but now the computer seems to run, but no picture. Im figuring I made a mistake, but was hoping somebody could shed some light for me. Thanks.

Note, its 2gb (1 each), and ive tried with just one stick and two.

The A8N uses DDR RAM, not DDR2. So no, it wouldn't be compatable.

How did you get DDR2 ram to fit in a DDR slot?

It fits all right, physically anyway, but not mentally. Thanks other_one.
But does the ram fsb have to be the same as the board, like pc3200, etc?

Uhh, if it's DDR2, and your board takes DDR, it shouldn't fit unless you used a hammer and/or saw. I'm scared now.

how many ram slots does you computer have?? becasue mine has 2 for ddr and 2 for ddr2
