Is this RAM compatible with my computer?

I have this Acer Aspire x1700 that has been sitting around the house for a few years and doesn't have any RAM because I decided to sell them a few years ago.

Anyway I'm looking around to buy more so I can get it running and I found on an auction site some DDR2 667 Mhz RAM.

And it says that this is what it can use, but it isn't Acer brand like the computer is and I just know nothing about this kind of stuff.

Acer doesn't manufacture RAM, so you won't see Acer branded RAM. Any DDR2 PC2-5300 will work.

The RAM you linked to is a no-name. Look for something from Cricual, Hynix, or Kingston instead.

That's why i can't find any RAM for acer online. So i use another brand that's compatible with my laptop.
