is it true that a intel pentium 3 can beat a intel celeron d
if it is true i might upgrade to a pentium 4 with ht but then i cant find a australia website that sells one

Yes im sure it "can" beat a pent D but it depends on what benchmarks and what apps, also if it is massively OC ed that would also play a part in it "beating" a D. have a look at this http://www.computerforum.com/75888-give-your-opinion-plz.html

Whoever told you that? Those two processors are from totally different eras! No, I'm quite certain a PIII wouldn't be faster than a Celeron D. Eh, but of course, I got a PIII 733MHz I'll trade you if you still think they're faster
