I dont know much about making your own computer but my friends is offering me to buy his and I was hoping for some advice from people that know more about the subject than me, on whether it is worth buying or not, and anything to look out for.

Computer is roughly 3 years old, and the price is £470. Components and warrenty list:

Case: Cooler Master CM690II Advanced -Warranty Expired
PSU: Hipper Type R 560w - Warranty Expired
Motherboard: Asus P6T - Expires December
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 overclocked to 4.0ghz - Expires December
Ram: Corsair XMS3 1600mhz 2GBx3 -Limited Lifetime Warranty
GPU: Gigabyte GTX260 Super Overclock -Expires December
DVD: Sony DVD Drive - Warranty Expired
SSD: Corsair Force 3 120GB -2 Years Left
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB -Warranty May 2014
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12P SE2 -3 Years Left
I think its windows ultimate 64bit as well.

Thanks in advance

Also i should point out im not really looking for a top end gaming computer, Ideally i want to play games on a reasonable graphics setting at least. Mostly Im into RTS games, play most action orientated games on console. Also any other suggestions would be appreciated

Not really worth it no. Processor and graphics card are old (but still perfectly usable). PSU isn't great either.
