Is this worth downloading?

Have you got a link in which we can check out what this thing is all about, and if it aint from the offical Microsoft.com website I would not trust it.

If theres no website can you tell us what this pack is supposed to do.
If it's anything to do with Windows Longhorn Dont download it, WL isn't even in the beta stage yet, still Alpha!!!

ya, im gonna try it, but not right now because i have another theme running, thanks for the link. it seem worth trying.

Lol

I do not see any reason as to why you should not trust it. It's third party software made to have your Windows XP look like Longhorn (rather the BETA releases of it).

JAN :D

no, its not worth it. I downloaded it before and you cant do anything on it. You cant install drivers because it says that "its not compatable with this version of windows" so if you have anything that requires you to install drivers, it wont work. And i doubt any programs will actually install. All you can do is see what it looks like.

Unless you have High speed broadband, dont even bother downloading it.

dont listen to him, it is one of the best things ive ever ahd on my comp, ive had it since 6.0

you get a bunch of sweet themes too, and the longhorn icons

Yes listen to him. Installing drivers is extremely important to some people. Icons and themes are not that important on mine and many otehr priorities.

what did you use it for? just to look at the stuff or did you use it to run programs and games?

Notice how he just wants to install a pack that makes XP just LOOK like Longhorn, and not actually install Longhorn itself.

precisely, its a theme, i use themes all the time and it makes no difference to software or drivers, its merely superficial

When i saw it say longhorn 8.0, i was thinking of the actual os, not the theme. in that case, i would get it.

ya its just the themes, nothing else! u can install all of your drivers b/c its still win xp!

thats y i said not to listen to that guy

ok so if you basically read the site i gave you it tells you its a theme and not the os...
