I'm using a Tv Tuner Card (and Beyond Tv Trial Software) to record movies via Cox Cable. I'm thinking about purchasing BeyondTV, but there's two versions. One version is $30 more than the other and comes with a "burn to dvd" option after you've recorded your show/movie.
My question(s) are:
1) Is it worth $30 extra just to have the "burn to dvd" option?
2) If I decide to go with the cheaper version, and burn the movies to dvd using a different program, could there be quality loss?

P.S. Keep in mind that I have roxio, and the movies are in MPEG-2 Format. (so w/e program does the burning, will also have to convert)
