Is your PC ready for Vista? Do you know about the Vista Upgrade Advisor?

This is just some information for those who don't know about the Vista Upgrade Advisor.

If you are wondering if your PC can handle Vista, you can download the Vista Upgrade Advisor which scans your computer and gives you a report as to what aspects of your PC need to be changed in order to be Vista-ready. It scans your hardware devices, programs, CPU performance and drivers for any incompatibility issues with Vista.

Here is the link from the official Microsoft Vista website:

I found it to be pretty helpful and you can save a copy of the report for future reference.

Yeah it's a good tool, I also found it a long time ago. :D And yes my computer can handle Vista Ultimate but I won't but it for a while.

Just so that all of you guys are aware, it would be wise to get the full version of Vista, as the upgrade version is not un-installable, and is even more problematic than XP upgrade versions were.

It says im ready for Ultimate too:eek:

But i wont be purchasing Vista anytime soon....and by the time i do anyway i will have a better rig to put it on.

Yes, i found this about 3 months ago. Nice tool but i can't remember what it said was ideal for my pc.:)
