Is Zune pulling a Napster?

Microsoft being desperate since i dont know one person with a zune.... Very sad they have to resort to this.. No one will ever seriously compete with a iPod simple as that...
 
I converted to the Zune after my iPod Video's screen cracked, from falling half a foot onto my mouse pad, and the screen wasn't covered in the warranty.

I've had the Zune for about a year now, and it has lasted longer then the Video, and has fallen and been through worse.


I may use the $15 a month thing.


iPods aren't the best.

There really is no 'best' mp3 player, since its a matter of preference.
 
Uhm.. zune pass has been around since its release. Its nothing new.

I agree with the above poster that ipods are far from the best. I went through 3 of them before I learned my lesson and tried the zune.
 
yea, there is no such thing as the BEST player out there. Its just that ipods are WAYYY ahead of the game right now. Its just also a brainwashing thing. If one said im going to buy an mp3 player, they would first, obviously think about an iPod.


my first ipod was a shuffle, 512mb. Then i got the 1st gen nano 2gb. It got jacked by some Mexican dude while i had my back turned (bummer). Then i got the Creative zen vision m instead of the ipod video, but i couldnt get it to connect with my eMachines comp (it was a shitty piece of shit). So then i just got tired of it and exchanged it for a 8gb nano second gen.

The vision M was an amazing player. It has everything that an ipod has plus more. More colors, bigger screen, fm radio, etc. The sucky part was that it was almost twice as thick.
 
$15 bucks a month sounds like music hacks! lawl.

I think the program is for people who aren't frequent users so I'm not to sure what they will do with people dl'ing tonnes..

Anyways I found teh catch: "The songs are yours to keep as long as you keep your Zune Pass valid."

err... i like ipods but no FM radio and the lack of usable programs kind of sucks. i like zunes and my 2gb sansa clip. its tiny, the screen is nice (its not for video, so its a very simple screen.)
 
I have a zune, and I prefer it to anything I have used thus far (Ipod, creative zens...). Though I doubt I would ever use the zune pass, when I first looked at their music library it was pretty weak.
