I here ya. I had an idea once a while back to put flyer's in peoples mailbox and say "donate a computer" Or "Got a computer your throwing out? Get $5 instead of $0 if you give it to me!" and then if they give it to me then I take the parts from it and sell it on eBay piece by piece. Could work.
Very clever. I have some computer parts I could sell I suppose. Some RAM, PSU's, Web cam, etc. Maybe I could at least get enough for a new mobo/cpu combo
Sweet. How do you figure the ship-out costs. Do you get the boxes to ship things at ur local postal office as well? I have shit to sell but no nothing about the box prices and shipping prices
Well when you list something on ebay you can
1. select flat rate shipping so anywhere you ship is the same price but price depends on the weight of it.
2. Put in the weight and select a different option and do "calculated by location-what this does is the bidder know how much they will pay for shipping. when the bidding is done they pay you in paypal for the item and the shipping that the calculation did.
After that you can print up the label with all the info on it already, place it on the box and drop it off in the post office. They have boxes you can buy for items. USPS has good prices on them BUT UPS charges $10+ just for a box so if you ship UPS box it yourself.
