ISO burning issue

Hey,

I think this is a problem with my software burning an image to the disk but am not entirely sure. I recently downloaded Fedora Core 5 and am planning on installing it whenever I get this working.

I have tried two different softwares for burning the image to the disk and both have failed to do it and I get an error that the disk has failed the media test when I go to install FC5.

First software I tried: InterVideo
Second software: ISORecorder V2

Both failed.

I suppose this error could be due to a corrupt download but I have tried two different versions of FC5 and both ended in this error. I don't think the file would be corrupt both times (I also downloaded the first version I tried - which was the DVD version - two times; tried the CD version after).

Am I doing something wrong? All I have to do to get the disk set-up correctly is just burn the image to the disk right? And no, I'm not stupid and just copy and pasting the ISO onto the disk and leaving it at that. :P
