I just bought a geforce 8400gs 512mb from Newegg. and i have xp pro sp.3,

when i put the video card in, it shows up looking for drivers. I install drivers then it looks for pci bridge drivers. and the disc nor the website has them. but i can use the card now. but also the ethernet doesnt work when the video card is in. Then i reinstalled Vista and everything works great, so reinstalled xp and same issues. I wana use xp anybody know any fixes.,

Sounds like you just need to install your motherboards chipset drivers for XP or vista really. (PCI Bridge) is part of the boards chipset driver.
