Ok, well this is on my home computer - I use my laptop for all business related work. This is for the family..
Just built it a few months ago for a pretty good price $300 AUD.
Anyways,
2gig ram DDR
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3600+
300GB HD
Winfast K8M890M2MA Mobo ... - This is my one regret, they didn't have the motherboard I wanted.. so I grabbed this one as it was urgent. Anyways yesterday I couldn't get past the password screen.. they screen keeps flashing and duplicating into 4 or so flashing images.. I reformatted the pc as there was other issues and now it's working fine. Although, when I try to set the resolution to the max resolution I could use before, or the one below it.. the screen goes back to the same problem. Keep in mind this is using the onboard video card so im guessing maybe that has overloaded or the motherboard is having issues? or could it be the processor?
Just wondering which it maybe and if it is the motherboard, which motherboard can I use to replace this one.. and work with my current setup with no change at all besides the actual motherboard.
Keep in mind I'm in aus, and this wasn't built to be a high end performance computer..
Regards,
Aram
