It is strange

It is strange, that before you purchase Malwarebytes it finds a lot of threats in the computer but AFTER you have purchased Malwarebytes ,it doesn't find any more threats , lol

Uh....What threats do you expect it to find after it removes any existing threats?

Yeah. You know it is a free scanner. The only benefit to the paid version is the realtime scanning protection and web protection.

I know some other companies that offer a free scan and then find hundreds of items ,that in reality they installed to get you to buy their product . So I guess that this is the cause of my being suspicious. I didn't expect it to find threats immediately but in the following days perhaps ?

Unless you're infected, it's not gonna find anything. It's a really good program. Why do you think us and so many other help forums (such as Bleeping Computer) use it to remove infections?

Yes I know, that's why I got the paid version because my Internet Provider also used this to clean my computer along with another program called Revo. Have you ever heard of this one ?

Revo uninstaller isn't a malware cleaning program. Its a program that will fully uninstall programs that its own installer won't finish removing.

I thought it was weird that both Norton’s and McAfee would suddenly find lots of viruses attacking my computer everyday just prior to the renewal date and then nothing the rest of the year. It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. I don’t use either one anymore because of it. I hate being tricked.

Wish I knew about Revo uninstaller before. I had CC Generals installed on my second HDD and when I encrypted my computer with Truecrypt (Now disfunc) and it changed the second HDD letter upon mounting. So of course all my installed programs on that drive lost their correct path. I couldn't uninstall properly and had to delete everything in the registry. I guess there is a way to change the drive letters but I didn't want to mess with that because the last time I did that on XP I FUBARed my computer.

Kinda off topic, but does Revo Uninstaller remove programs after the fact or does it have be the initial uninstaller?

For the most part this is revo's best feature. It will remove left over entries after the programs own uninstaller has ran. Most of the time there are leftover program entries in the registry and inside windows.

Johnb35 that is EXACTLY what I really hate in the computer world lol!
I just don't freaking understand WHY would someone make a software which during it's installation process does everything okay such as:

-copying software files
-writing it's registry keys
-adding new features to WINDOWS folder and other locations

And THEN when you don't need that program anymore and you want to "completely uninstall it",you run the PROGRAM'S FREAKING UNINSTALLER which was "designed to remove THAT program",it ALMOST NEVER EVER removes everything. And that's so stupid!!!
Why on Earth for the life of me and for the love of God would they make so crappy uninstallers to "completely uninstall" their program when at the end it does not remove everything and leaves many things where they are not supposed to be such as registry entries???

That is something what I always hated and it really goes on my nerves.

Thank God that the programs I make are always properly 100% completely installed (using my setup) and always properly 100% completely uninstalled (again using my setup) when you don't want it anymore WITHOUT leaving a single bit of it on the HDD/SSD.

Other programs don't do this...I just don't understand WHY?!?!?!?!:confused:

I hate that...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

So johnb35...do you know why people make things this way?
Because I have no freaking idea...:(
