I ditched playing computer games for awhile but now that summer is here and friends are playing I'm getting back into the game. My 7900 gs just isn't cutting it anymore and I need advice on what new card to buy. Budget is $200 and shipping and taxes need to be included.

I've been looking at the 8800 GT mainly and found a decent deal on ncix.com. tigerdirect.ca is kind of expensive and directcanada has some deals. So should I buy the 8800GT?

Im tired of sacrificing games because this old card cant play.
 
I just ordered it. :) :) :) :) :) I get excited pretty easily, will update on how much I can overclock when the card arrives.

I got the XFX 8800 GT Zalman edition it's really impressive compared to my old 7900.

I overclocked the card and got it stable at 700 core, 1684 shader and 1003 mem. Is that a reasonably good overclock?

Also, I score just over 8600 in 3dmark 06, is that an okay score? (Processor is only an AMD x2 4600, so it isn't very new.)

But overall it is an amazing card, with a new processor I'll be laughing.
