Hey guys,
So here's the thing, I close iTunes whenever I am not using it. I go to load it up again, and my entire library is GONE! Not a single song to be seen. I check my recylcing bin and there is something in there. Some how it has automatically moved two iTunes database files, which seem to be relevant to my iTunes library file to the Recycling bin.
You have no idea (or maybe you do) how annoying it is for me to get all those playlists back in order again. The easiest way for me to restore my music is to use a special program called MediaWidget to sync my iPod songs BACK into my iTunes and have my something like 50 playlists restored and my full library back to order with only the one problem of added date information.
So, if I try to restore the files in the Recyling Bin, it tells me I do not have permission to do that (oh god annoying). I read up about taking ownership of the files, but if I go to right click and go properties, there is no security button. I believe if I restore those files, it might actually restore my library. How can I get permission to undelete these files, and how can I stop iTunes from automatically sending these files back to the recycling bin?
This has happened 100 times, and it's becoming a really boring and stupid problem that keeps happening with my iTunes.
Your help is much appreciated in this matter.
Thanks!
Regards,
Luke
