itunes back up question.

is there any way to back up the settings and preferences in itunes. ive got songs unchecked and playlists i want to save. is there any way of doing this?
 
could you not just copy your itunes library like the whole thing depending on where you have you music stored.

is it just in the music folder on your OS drive or stored on a different drive?

then you could maybes copy the whole thing somewhere else.

Also can i ask a really stupid question but why do you want to back up you itunes?

thats just my suggestion :)
