itunes not a "valid win32 application"

Downloading itunes for the first time, and when I try to run it I get an error message that says it's not a "valid win32 application."

Any ideas?

ps i'm downloading it directly from apple's website

You have downloaded a corrupt file. This may be because of a problem with your internet at the time, or you may have closed your web browser/download accelerator before the application was fully downloaded. To fix your problem, redownload the App and try again.
