Itunes problem

Having issues with Itunes at the moment.

For some reason it wont load at the moment always giving me an error and failing.

So i tried reinstalling it by downloading it from Apple, when I try to install it fails saying quicktime needs to be installed. Now this installation should be iTunes and Quicktime together.

So I've tried installing quicktime seperately which also fails! I've been into add/remove programs and tried to uninstall quicktime which gives me a fatal error and doesnt unistall it in the end.

Seems im stuck now with a knackered itunes which wont reinstall or uninstall. Anyone got any ideas how to get around this or any software that can remove quicktime without using its own uninstaller?

ok i've tried to remove all traces of itunes and quicktime now, removing it from the registry.

upon trying to install i get an error message saying

error reading from C:\windows\installer\quicktime.msi

now i cant find that directory or file for some reason so getting a bit baffled here.....

i had that problem. but i jsut reformatted cos i wanted to start fresh anyway. so it works now but i dont know how to helo you lol.
