You have to copy the playlists to the iPod. Just click and drag them on to it.

I think there's an option that adds all the songs from your libary when you connect it.

well, you got to set it to either manual, or automatic.... manual would be dragging them, but automatic would be automaticaly updating them....if you have any questions, please ask, i know lots about ipods lol
