Ok im having a problem with iTunes where, to keep it polite, it skips like a bitch (excuse the language) whenever i maximize or minimize it! Now this is starting to drive me up the wall cos it worked fine on my old computer which was nothing compared to this one (look at signature for current computer specs.) Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Unless your performing some pretty demanding tasks, I don't know what it is. It happens to me when I am trying to install 7 things at once, watch a show, listen to music and surf the tinterweb.

Nope. Usually ive only got firefox open. But i know its not anything to do with this computers hardware cos like i said before, i can run it on my second computer better

I can help you with iTunes, but I really dont understand your problem.
does it play the next song when you min/maximize iTunes?
or
does it skip several songs when a song ends?
what is your problem?

Woah i have the same problem, everytime i activate shuffle function, every a new song start it will be disorted for a while after that the song goes normal again.
Does anyone knows the problem?

ok no it doesnt go to then next song, i dont know if u would call it skipping im not sure of the proper word, but the song being played will, i guess you could say lag, or freeze? but the song doesnt stop. hmmm i duno how to explain it.

reintstall itunes, if that doesnt work, defrag your harddrive, and try to group all your songs into one directory.

Mine us to do that because itunes uses a lot of your ram!!!!!

So maybe a ram upgrade.....

have a look in task manage > processors and then have a look.

rams not the problem. i have 2gb and new computer and my old computer with only 768mb ram runs it better than this one. it doesnt make sence.

Hmm its quite complicated then, is it possible that the 3rd party codec cause this? Beside wmp and itunes i've got klite mega codec installed.
Or maybe hardware acceleration?
