Hi, I seem to have a problem when closing iTunes and was wondering if anyone has any ideas.

When I close the program I am given the message 'iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close..'' This is highly annoying as it occurs everytime I shut down the program. If I then click on the error report the screen attached is shown.

I would appreciate your help greatly

I take it, you have XP????

  1. Uninstall Itunes.
  2. Go to Apple and download the latest version
  3. Install the latest version of itunes.

try that.
 
Right, I tried that and started up iTunes, closing it down successfully without it giving me this report. However, I then did the same again and the error report reappeared :confused: How highly annoying this is! Thanks for the help anyway.
 
Right, ive now tried that twice and the problem is still occuring.:confused:

That screenshot is not helping very well. Could you post an image with the "Tehnical Information" window? (to display it click the first "click here" in the window from the screenshot), maybe I will succeed to troubleshoot this problem.
 
Right, this was obviously a software fault as the new version has just become available, which I downloaded, and now everything seems fine and the message is not displayed.
