ive connected my notebook to TV. Question.

ok ive connected my notebook to TV and works perfectly.

specs:
acer aspire 1692
win xp home

question:
I dont want to have two monitors. I want to see the screen just on the TV and not on my notebooks monitor. how?(in windows xp)

Well what graphics do you have? I know with Nvidia drivers you can set the TV as your primary monitor, so your screen can be seen on the tv and not your LCD screen, but I don't know why you want to do that, the resolution of a TV is pretty bad, and the refresh rates are appalling.
 
because i want to play nfs most wanted, call of duty 2 , i have a samsung hdtv 42" . its perfect.

Your ATi drivers should have it. I have a nvidia card, but when I had my X800GT I remember that there is an option in the Catalyst control centre. Do you have that installed?
