Jap PSP Questions

Hi,
I have pretty much bought a Japanese PSP from a friend (Im buying it on monday, but i have it with me now)

Anyway, a few questions:

1. Can the X and O buttons be switched around? You know, normally you would press X for selecting, and O to cancel/go back, but on the Jap its the other way round, can this be fixed?

2. Anything else i should know about Jap PSPs?
 
Ok, I think Ive found out the answer. I need the 1.5 Firmware so a button swapper mod can be added. I have the 2.6 Firmware, so I cant downgrade.

Ah well, I can get used to the buttons!
