Alright so a while back I bought a Jaton PCI fx 5700le nvidia card, installed it, drivers, seemed to work fine. Then a month or two after buying it started to freeze up randomly. The screen would just freeze and little strands or what looks like rapping paper would run up and down the screen. Now, at first it would only freeze up once in a while, but then it got bad...to where i could log in and 5 seconds later...bam. 
So as a solution i switched the port of the card, thinking it was a problem with the port, and when i put my modem into it to test...it lagged horribly then disconnected. So switching the port of the card seemed to work for a while, no issues. A week later it starts happening ...and my theory is that.
Maybe my card is systematically frying my ports?
