java error...

i don't have java installed in my pc...
so i want to install it...
but when i have installed it..it ask me to refreshed the browser...
i already refreshed it and infact...i restart the pc....
but when i check if the java has installed by opening limewire (it needs java runtime environment as u know)
it says this...

"lime wire need java runtime environment 5 or higher"
(sumthing like that)

why is that?

help me please...:confused:

i'm using window ME...
last thursday...i reformated my pc...
the java can be used before i reformat the pc...
but now..it suddenly can't be use or installed...
why is that?

am i need a driver for that?

do you need hijackthis log?
 
No, HijackThis log ins't important you don't have Malware issues.
Please download Java from here.
I guess that will fix the problem since not all Java software is compatible with ME.
 
Nope. I don't get it. Did you install it?? You have to click twice to start setup... I mean I don't understand where is the problem!
Any hardware changes? Anything?
 
nope..no new hardware installed...
i just reformat my pc...thats all...
n about the thing u ask to download...when i double-click it...
nothing happen...i click and my pc like slow...and after a few second...its back to normal...
me also don't know what happen...
before i format and reinstall my pc...it has a java...
but now when i try to install (the thing that u ask me to download and install it)
it just..nothing happen...

u guys don't wanna leave me alone n solve my problem by myself...

i try to uninstall my java....
but when i go to the add/remove rogram...
its not there...

but when i try to find java by using search for files and folders...
it can be found...
it is located in C:\window...

why is that?
 
Hmm...Please completely remove Java from your computer and download and install again from the previous link.This will work, I didn't know you have it in system...
That's bad I guess...Just delete it from there.

i think i have solve this issue...
i reformat my pc...then first i install my drivers...
then i install the java...n it works...
