java.exe process runs 50% + cpu utilization

Can anyone tell me why java.exe process uses 50%+ cpu utilization even though nothing else is running. The descripiton is "Java(TM) Platform SE binary".I have a well equiped pc, I am curently running BOINC Client World Community Grid Computing. I read it might be for an internet application, but even when I close BOINC Client, java.exe still runs. Even when I end the java.exe process through task manager, it starts right back up again. I uninstalled java and restarted, java.exe was still there. Ran everything from System Mechanic Pro 7 to Ad Aware 2007 and nothing. I can't stop it, I don't even know what it's doing, it's doing it right know, please help

So you've removed Jave and all it's other components, have you searched your computer for any files that may be left behind?

How long ago did it start, because you could go back to a restore point and see if it gets rid of it...
