Java & Flash drive my desktop crazy

Does anyone know why whenever I'm on a page that has some flash or java applet my computer starts going like crazy? It's a Sony Vaio Minitower. It just makes the usual sound of the fan 100 times louder, like a plane taking off with all engines at full power.
Please help me! I appreciate any help! Thanks

Those embedded applications should be installed on your computer right now. See if you can find them in your list of add/remove programs and uninstall them. Reinstall them and see what happens.
