java problem

hello. I have a stupid problem that bother me for pretty long time.
I am using java runtime enviroment 6 update3, and my firefox works well with it. However i have no idea why my internet explore just cannot run any java, even i tried thousand of methods to make it work. Only a cross appear.

Anyone have idea how to solve this? Thank you.
 
Hmm it would help me if you write which version of Internet Explorer do you use... because if it's older than 5.0 it may not work, or if it's 7.0 then you will have to change some options, and maybe it's just that you have a bug in Internet Explorer, and you may have to unninstall and install again IE...
 
I'm using the same version of Java and it works fine. Ok try this: Tools> Sun Java Console. If it opens it, it works, means that some bug appeared, if it doesn't open, then reinstall Java v.6 update 3, yep you can do it on Control Panel.
