No matter what I do I get this message on my computer that says "do you want to allow jucheck to check for updates" I have removed java from the startup in the registry, I have gone into the java control panel and said never check for updates and applied.

Next reboot its asking again, wtf is the deal? my boss wants it to stop occuring but I cant figure it out. Its doin me head in, help!

dllcache is a hidden and protected operating system folder. You have to display hidden files and uncheck the hide protected operating system files on the view tab of folder options to see it.
 
Hey Cromewell, I did that, but it still didnt work. I was able to see in via windows xp but not windows 7, its strange
 
Are you able to open the folder (ie run %windir%\system32\dllcache) in 7? You may need administrative rights if you are using a non-privledged account. I'm fairly sure it's the same steps to set the folder to be viewable in vista/7. I'll check when I get home, I've only got an XP machine here.
