Downloaded Java 7 update 51 and now it will not open the applet in yahoo games, The message is that my security is blocking it. Using Mozilla ,

You need to click on the top left of the address bar and enable Java. By default Firefox has started automatically disabling Java due to constant security vulnerabilities.

Thanks, Java is on but the APPLET which opens the rooms for a game will not open, tells me that a security setting is blocking it.

Try a different browser to see if its just firefox with the issue.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling java but reboot the system after uninstalling and before reinstalling it.

From what I remember Yahoo Games are very picky on which JVM you use. If you downloaded the 64bit version, try uninstalling it and getting the 32bit one.
