Jetico Firewall

better than Windows Firewall? more thorough is a more accurate word. Problem is, many ppl say it asks them time and time again about accessing the web and things like this. An excellent firewall is sygate.

eeehhhh im running free zone alarms right now and we have a ps2, 2 laptops, and another wireless desktop all hooked up to it all with dandy internet connections? :confused:
 
ok, so zonealarms is not protecting the network. it may be protecting ur comp, but viruses, malware, etc. can get in through the other comps, thereby putting your comp at risk even more.

well they may of added it then, it wasnt enabled last year when i lat used it. its a good firewall.

Except one or two, none have cared to review Jetico Firewall. At the moment, I am not interested in ZoneAlarm because:

I tried installing Sygate but it didn’t work so any review about it is just similar to reviewing ZoneAlarm. In my understanding, it’s the uninstalled elements of ZoneAlarm that are obstructing the process of Sygate, if configured. I am pursuing a separate thread to find a solution for that. Till then, I would wait for some more comments on Jetico. Moreover, I would appreciate if some can suggest me an efficient firewall apart from ZoneAlarm, Sygate and Jetico. It should preferably be a freeware.
