Jpwr2 problem (shapes)

image.jpeg image.jpeg So this is my first build and i was trying to figure out how to plug the cpu cable in the jpwr2 connector, but the shapes don't match. I was able to plug it in rather easily but i dont think its right so i was wondering if i need some sort of adapter or something. Thanks for any help!

And also i wanted to make sure my gpu is plugged in correctly (all the pictures will be attached) i used a vga cable

It plugs in fine but im just worried that it might create some problems since one half of the 4+4 pin cable is all rounded. And i was trying to attach a picture but apparently the file is too big
 
I wouldn't worry about rounded cables. As long as the connector fits in the header on the motherboard(Some of the connectors are square while others are rounded so you can only plug it in one spot) then you are good to go.
