Jumbo Frames

I have a linksys wireless router and roadrunner but im only getting 250 kbps down. A friend told me to use jumbo frames but I have no clue how. Any ideas? (im running windows 7 RC)
 
Properties of your NIC... go to configure.. depending on your nic you should have an option for jumbo frames... might be pointless though if your switch doesnt support jumbo frames.

Jumbo frames is going to have nothing to do with your dl speed being 250kbps. Im getting 360kbps download on DSL without it. I also have a Linksys wireless router. You need to contact your ISP. Try transferring something between two computers. You should get somewhere around 8 megs a second(give or take). If you dont then maybe you have a problem somewhere with one of your NIC's(doubt it) or devices. To me it sounds like your just throttled at 250kbs. Also...I know im all over the place here, but this is worth a shot.
