Jumper Position on Initial Start Up

Yep, I'm confused again (still). Which position should I have the motherboard jumper in (Normal or Config) on the initial start up on a Intel D945PVS .

http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/D945PVS/

It came with it in the Normal position and is suppose to have "Serial ATA and IDE Auto Configuration" and "PCI and PCI Express Auto Configuration", but I'm not sure if that covers the initial start or not. Also, I'm not concerned about setting "Security Passwords". As always, thanks in advance for any and all info. :)

I'm not positive on this so don't hate me if this is wrong, but I think you keep it in normal setting. Regardless I don't think it will hurt the motherboard to try it one way and see if it boots or not. If not, switch the jumper, but I would say try it in normal first before trying config. Your user's guide should have the purpose of the config setting in it somewhere and you could probably go off that too.

Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a try on Normal and see if any smoke comes off the board. :D
