i hav gone to game and just bought crysis... everytime i run it, it gets to the main menu and then locks up completely... wat is causin this??????

wat is the cheapest card or a good deal on a card that will run crysis on an acceptable setting????



only uk sites plz....

Yeah you do need a new graphics card, an 8400 wouldn't have a hope of running Crysis in reasonable decency. You should have followed the recommended hardware list on the box before you bought the game. Crysis locking up at the main menu can be the cause of dodgy hardware, I have an instance where, I swapped my 24" monitor for an ancient 19" standard monitor and Crysis just refuses to run, and the time when I did get it to start up to the main menu, some of the buttons do not work and it freezes up sometimes.

So get a new graphics card, even if you can get it to run, it will look horrible anyway, with an 8400GS, you would have to disable pretty much everything and run it at the lowest resolution.
