Hello
I always have had problems storing data on CD's and now DVD's. It works the first time then I can add to the same disk then I can't for no apparent reason.
I have used different programs and always frustrating.
Is it just like that or am I missing the basic info. Storing to a memory stick is easy so should it be as easy to store to a disk?
Are there any articles on the basics out there?
Thanks
Rob

If you use windows explorer to burn data disks you can add more stuff later even with dvd-r disks. You just pop the disk in and wait for something to pop-up or just go to "my computer" and double click the dvd and name it and then it will format it and ask what type you want to format it. Read each one and chose the one that will let you modify later. Do not use nero or some other program as most of them will protect the cd/dvd and wont let you add stuff later.

Thanks g25racer I can get the same disk to except files at different times but then it stopped taking them after it worked about 3 times. The disk is still almost empty but keeps crashing while taking files. If I put a new disk in it also can be taken in and out a few times till it stops excepting files.

You have to make sure that Continue multisession disk is enabled.
