i just recently purchased HP p6330f Pavilion . it only has a 300 watt power supply. i would like to add a video card to it but the 300watt power supply is holding me back. im lookn for one that is 600watts+. I just dont know which power supply to get and which one will work with this computer. sorry if this is a newb question, just dont know which one to get. if somebody could direct me to a site with a link to a site with the power supply that will work for this computer that is at least 600watts+. thank you in advance.

That PSU is complete overkill, although it is agood quality.

Is the case standard sized or is it a small form factor (slimline) machine? that changes what powersupplies you can use.

^ Looks like a standard inverted mATX layout.

Okay yeah. What are the specs of the HP system? What hardware are you going to run, you got any planned upgrades like GPU replacement?

Google says it has an i3 530, so anything between an HD5770 and a GTX 460 would be fairly well matched in performance.
