Ok this is my first post and i just bought a new computer from dell a few days ago, i ordered a C521.
-AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+
-Windows Vista
-1GB Dual Channel DDR2 Ram
-22 Inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor
-250GB Serial ATA Hard Drive
-16x DVD+/-RW Drive
-Microsoft Office and Home 2007
-McAfee Security 3 yrs
-Dell 30 watt 2.1 Speakers with subwoofer

Can you guys tell me how this computer will be, i have never used the C521 computer before or the AMD Athlon Processor. Can you tell me more about this processor that i just bought with the computer.

Those look to be decent, and remove that Sell outta your sig, you do not have 100 posts, you might get in trouble. What have you used before? I can tell you how it compares.

well right now im on a Dell Dimension E310 with a Pentium 4 processor and 2.8Ghz and with 512 ram and 160 GB hard drive and windows xp

yea, you'll be able to stick one in, it'll usually cost you about 30-40$ and it goes in a pci slot... um, you said you wanted to know more about the proc? well AMD procs are only different in performance. dont expect to have different applications deny you, saying "intel required" lol... anything you can do with a normal intel, you can do with an AMD... (not performance-wise though, amd's are a little behind in that area... they are still extremely fast though)
