Just bought an 8800GTS G92!!

Any suggestions from any owners of this card? Any simple tweaks or overclocking this card is good for? Any good programs to install to monitor temperature? Simple install? Just plug it in and hook up that little 6 prong power cable to it?

It's going to be used on the Motherboard in signature. But that's next to go! Any suggestions on a sweet motherboard to take full advantage of this card and especially when I go SLi?!

Very excited to see if I will be able to harness this stepup program as well!

Yeah, I would say it's worth the extra fifteen, just in case a really good card comes out for the same price.
 
They would be, but that's why the fan isn't flush with the rest of the heatsink, if you look at any 8800 Ultra/GTX Tri-SLi setups then you'll see there's little air getting to the cards, that design allows them to draw air easily. Note how the GTS G92 fan is at an angle.
 
i would depend on what motherboard you have. my motherboard has 2 pci-slots between the 2 pci-e 16x slots, wich leaves plenty of room for a dual slot card
 
What he said, download rivatuner to overclock. Also download either gpu-z or everest ultimate to monitor temps. Everest ultimate is a bigger program but will monitor nearly everything on your pc and gpu-z just monitors your gpu.

Whats the program you can change fan speeds on? Is that Rivatuner as well?

This is just a plug and play inatall right? Just that 6pin power cable and that's it?
 
Yup thats right! Install the current drivers and restart and your good. Rivatuner will let you change fan speeds and overclock!
