So i just got windows xp installed and when trying to install the chipset drivers for the motherboard i keep getting an error and it exits out. Anyone have any ideas?

the motherboard im using is: DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

No clue about that board specifically, but I have noticed it's typically better with any board to install the drivers through device manager than using install programs. Try finding the drivers that aren't loaded in device manager than direct it to wherever the files are located. There should be a folder with a .inf file. If the specific driver doesn't have a .inf, you probably can't use this method.

Some programs require you run the setup. The drivers are then basically extracted and installed.

well i just DL the driver to my old computer and put it on a CD and then tryed to DL them on my new setup and i got the same error message so its not the CD or the driver its something with my comp.
