There were a lot of software incompatibility issues w/ the beta versions of Vista as well. Fortunately, driver support seems to be pretty good.

If i plug in the usb things from the case without plugging in that 1394 cord will it still work? I plugged in the usb and the 1394 from the white thing you see right above the power supply.
